The Urgent Care Foundation has announced the latest class of its Industry Award recipients. These outstanding individuals are commended for their contributions to the advancement of Urgent Care medicine. We are proud to announce that Lake Urgent Care/Lake After Hours Founder, Dr. Kevin DiBenedetto, has won the 2023 Outstanding Achievement Award, which recognizes significant clinical, managerial and/or administrative achievements in the field of Urgent Care medicine that have had an impact on the industry.
Dr. Kevin DiBenedetto has been a driving force in the Urgent Care industry for over two decades. As founder of Lake Urgent Care/Lake After Hours and Premier Health, Dr. DiBenedetto and his partner, Dr. Graham Tujague, opened their first clinic in 1999 in partnership with Our Lady Of The Lake Regional Medical Center, making Premier Health one of the first Urgent Care operators to specialize in health system partnerships. Today, Premier manages the day-to-day urgent care operations of health system joint venture clinics across 10 states, including Lake Urgent Care/Lake After Hours.
The honor will be presented at the Urgent Care Association Foundation Celebration Awards Ceremony on April 3, 2023, during the UCA Convention. The event will be held at the Caesars Forum in Las Vegas.
